Cumbria Council for Voluntary Service (Cumbria CVS) were awarded £58,414 to provide a range of essential development support to local third sector groups within the Allerdale Search Area.
The aim is to establish a stronger sector in the area and increase funding, economic prosperity and opportunities. This will be achieved by strengthening the sector through a direct line of support that will allow groups to be empowered, stable and supported and in a better position to leverage available funding.
Support will be delivered through a locally based Development Officer who will work directly with local communities and groups in the area to help them achieve their potential of growth and sustainability.
