Project Overview
Salterbeck Tenants and Residents (STAR) are a group of Residents and Tenants whose aim is to improve their community and the lives of those who live, work and run businesses in it.
They were awarded £3,300 for their ‘Project Funday Friday’, programme of activities taking place between November 2022 and April 2023 for children and families on the Salterbeck estate.
The aim is to increase community cohesion and help to bring people back together following the isolation caused by the pandemic, which has had a negative impact on children and young people in the area.
